The Lead Practitioner certification recognizes individuals who have demonstrated advanced expertise in Decision Quality principles and a sustained record of impact through structured decision-making. Lead Practitioners not only apply core concepts, tools, and frameworks with rigor and judgment, but also mentor others, elevate decision practices, and shape how decisions are made within their teams or organizations. They are skilled in navigating high-stakes, complex, and ambiguous decisions, facilitating diverse stakeholders, and integrating decision analysis with strategy, risk, and governance. Lead Practitioners play a key role in embedding decision quality as a capability within their organizations.
Earning Criteria
Participation
Active certification requires continuous dues-paid SDP membership.

Lead Practitioners must be elected by 1 Fellow and 2 Lead Practitioners (or Fellows) in good standing
